What is the VeriFactu System?
The Verifactu System, also known as the Verifiable Electronic Invoicing System, is an initiative promoted by the Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) with the aim of combating tax fraud and modernizing the management of electronic invoices.
Benefits of the VeriFactu System
The VeriFactu System has several benefits among them:
- Reduces tax fraud: Since electronic invoices are under the control of the AEAT, it is more difficult for companies to falsify or manipulate them.
- Streamlines invoice management: Companies can send and receive electronic invoices immediately, which speeds up the payment and collection process.
- Reduce administrative costs: Companies can save money on costs of printing, mailing and storing paper invoices.
